SLEEPING FACILITIES
Due to insurance restrictions at this site, there will be no indoor space available for sleeping. However, there are a couple of different options as below:
1. THE TUNNEL & CONCRETE PATCH
This is a sheltered space outside the venue for tents/gazebos and small bivvy-bag setups, but it is on a concrete surface so you would need to use tent weights or similar, as pegs cannot be staked into the ground. Part of this area leads under the building itself in a tunnel and is quite sheltered. The other half is not covered over but stretches out quite a way, and is the long section outlined in red on the Google maps photo:

We are able to offer camping in a nearby field. This is at least a 5 minute walk from site and is up quite a steep hill along a main road. There is a pavement and streetlighting, but we don't know if the lights are only in operation for certain hours. The camping field can be accessed by vehicles for unloading/loading only and cannot be parked on, so you wouldn't be able to drive up to it in order to go back to your tent and sleep. There are also no toilet facilities available in the field; the nearest would be back on site.
This area will be de-littered by the site staff prior to arrival. The tunnel is completely enclosed bar the openings at either end. We will create a barrier at these entrances with our gazebos to create:
-
an enclosed sleeping area in the tunnel
-
some spaces that can be used for getting changed in (with a system to show they're in use so nobody gets walked in on)

As such, the setting up of large tents will not be allowed inside the tunnel itself, with the exception of bivvies/tarp tents with a camp-bed-sized footprint. You can set up a small sleeping space in here with camp beds or similar, but please be respectful of making sure there's room for everyone who wants to be in there, and keep your set up compact.

If you would like to bring your own tent for use on the concrete area, there will be ample space to do so, but please ensure you leave access to the game and amenities area.

2. THE FIELD

3. CAR CAMPING OR OFF-SITE
For this event we would also be happy for you to sleep in your vehicle, or for you to stay off-site (as long as you let is know when you're leaving/coming back). There are a couple of hotels very close to the site, some within walking distance. Should you need to drive on/off site, the car park is manned by a 24hr operated security barrier so you'll have ease of access at any time.

BATHROOM FACILITIES
There is one plumbed toilet on site and there will be an additional portaloo provided. These will be gender neutral facilities and used by both players and crew. There are no shower facilities on site.

FOOD AND DRINK
As with some of our previous events, there is no drinking water so please do bring a supply with you. We will provide a kettle for player use, and you are welcome to bring a camp stove for cooking, provided it can be raised off the ground and is only used outside. There are no proper kitchen facilities for self-catering or food storage; however, if you have medication that needs to be refrigerated, please let us know as we are able to have a small space in the site staff fridge for essentials.

Many of our players usually bring military ration packs for these events and will often club together on a bulk order prior to event. You are not obliged to do this; it's purely player-organised and we are not affiliated in any way with any player(s) who offer to organise any sort of catering or food provision for the weekend.

KIT AND WEAPONS

STORY
GUIDE
Available weapon types for Storyline Events remain the same as the Arena events, with the exception of requiring darts for dart-firing blasters, as darts are provided by game team for Storyline events. Kit can be very simple and should reflect the base clothes that your character would have worn during their Tithing Arena. Further information on kit and weapons can be found in our Story Guide.
*Please note - although the "Event Details" section of the Story Guide pertains to our previous storyline event, the remainder of the Guide still applies to "Welcome To: The Warren" event. We will be uploading the updated Guide and opening Character Generation in the next 2 weeks.
